Our firm consists of an Agricultural/Environmental Engineer, an Engineering Technician, an ArcGIS Specialist, and a Managing Partner.
- Prior to the formation of SEC, our managing partner and engineer were both employed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s (KDHE) Livestock Waste Management Program for a combined total of over 11 years, 7 of which the managing partner spent as the Section Chief of the program.
- Our ArcGIS Specialist has over 5 years of experience in mapping, holds an MS in animal and range science, and was formerly a Livestock Extension Specialist for the University of Missouri.
- Our Engineering Technician spent 12 years with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Western Kansas as the Kearny County Technician. For the next 7 years, she worked as an area-wide Civil Engineering Technician with NRCS, and supported 23 counties.
- Through our experience, we have developed an extensive knowledge of the state of Kansas statutes, regulations, and design standards relating to CAFOs.
